Gallbladder taken out 3 weeks ago. i have a pain in my right side now. hurts when i inhale. any ideas?

Normal: Its normal to have some postoperative pain and diaphragmatic irritation (pleuritic type)/pain after cholecystectomy! for 4-5 weeks after surgery. You must have a follow-up appointment with your surgeon and if not GET ONE!! Hope this helps Dr Z

Post op pain?: Hard to say. Could just be regular post op pain (blood, bruising, inflammation ) or could be something brewing. Usually something bad would have other symptoms such as fever, vomiting etc. see the surgeon who did your surgery to evaluate
