Exposure Therapy, : a specific type of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, is very useful for many patients with PTSD, OCD, specific phobias, panic disorder & other types of anxiety disorders. Optimal frequency is based on the type & severity of the disorder(s). Any type of therapy done to "retrain the brain" usually yields greater velocity of improvement when done with greater intensity & repetitiveness.
