A member asked:

Is it normal for cognitive behavioral therapy/exposure for anxiety to make you feel tired and kinda down at the start? i can imagine fighting comfort/anxiety is stressful on the body, make sense?

Hang in there: No therapy results in a steady consistent improvement as there are ups and downs as you proceed. The goal is long-term, where you have less negative days and more positive days. It will take some time, be patient and work hard, the results are well worth it.
