Work up: Acute diarrhea needs usually work up and should not be assigned to chronic pancreatitis. Being accomplished with stool studies at least, depending upon how sick you are.

Suspected for acute pancreatitis in March 2022 and the lipase levels returned to Normal in 30 hours. I met various specialists and blood tests and US normal. Gastro said to forget about pancreatitis, but I have persistent pains and sometimes diarrhea?
