Had endoscopic ultrasound done on thursday. since then i get nauseated & have acute diarrhea with low grade fever. asymptomatic b4. lipase normal. never had pancreatitis b4. went 2 er. eus side effect?

Hard to say: Usually there are not those side effects from just an ultrasound . Maybe you picked up a bug from where you had the procedure .

"asymptomatic"?: If you were asymptomatic why were you having the test? See your doctor. Might be due to test or might be due to illness for which you had the test.

Endoscopy ultrasound report says "few features of chronic pancreatitis but overall very non-specific." I've always been asymptomatic with incidental elevated lipase found 4 years ago.
Went to er, bad lower stomach cramps, massive diarrhea. Wbc 13.27 (4.00x10.80) high neutrophils low lymphs. Pancreatitis? No test lipase or amylase. diangosis gastroenteritis. Felt 100% 2 hours later.
What would cause a mid 20's person (never drank) to have mildly elevated amylase and lipase, once a month oily diarrhea, and low b12? Negative celiac and no IBD. is chronic pancreatitis a strong consideration despite age and never drinking?
