A member asked:

Thyroid measure 4.6 x 2.2 x 1.4 cm. there are several subcentimeter hypoechoic foci in the right. what does this all mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thyroid ultrasound: You should take this U/S report to an endocrinologist, who will examine you, perhaps do blood tests and repeat the U/S, and determine the significance of this. Sub cm hypoechoic foci are usually of little/no significance, but they need the eye of someone who knows what to look for.
