Needs evaluation: 1 month of coughing isn't normal. You should be thoroughly evaluated for cough variant asthma or lingering infection. Consult and allergist or pulmonologist. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

See your PCP: Many of conditions can cause a lingering cough. Usually, continue coughs in nonsmokers are benign. Regardless, a persistent cough that lasts longer than a few weeks is a red flag and visit to your PCP is warranted.
