Spasmodic cough: if GERD try ranitidine / prevecid &elevate head of bed . May also be post nasal drip/sinusitis for which zyrtec prior to bed and elevation of head when sleeping may help. May be allergic zyrtec should help or asthma-may need inhaler. Could be other conditions as well, so would check CXR-sarcoid TB, masses, clots. occasionally mycoplasma- tx w zithromax . f/u/ w/ pulmonary/ allergist.,
