Cough > 1 month: May be mycoplasma a bacteria can be treated with Zithromax , may be reactive , after a bout of bronchitis , viral or bacterial, the cells are regrowing, are sensitive ( like after a scratch) and reactive so you may cough ,but should see a pattern decreasing cough day by day. Prednisone / inhalesr help . Smoking , TB, asthma, allergies, pollutants,chemicals, masses cause coughing f/u w/ doc
