Practice: Maybe you could read some self help material - books, articles, and online advice to start. Then I would start practicing in your room and pretend there's an audience. You should then do it in front of a few people. Sometimes you can look at them while speaking without directly looking into their eyes - that may make it easier on you.

CBT: Seek a cognitive-behavioral therapist who specializes in phobias. One method they use is systematic desensitization which slowly and incrementally brings the person closer and closer to the thing they are afraid of in slow, graduated steps that help make the anxiety more tolerable.
