Public speaking: phobia is one of the most frequent phobias people have. A clinical psychologist or other mental health professional can help. Clinical hypnosis and self-hypnosis training can be very useful also. See www.asch.net for possible referrals. If you can't find help locally consider a virtual consult on Health Tap. Peace and good health.

See suggestion:: It wasn't clear from your question if you are just having anxiety with public speaking or if you are having generalized anxiety. If just with public speaking taking a beta blocker like propanalol(Inderal) just prior to speaking should help a lot. It can also be helpful for certain patients with generalized anxiety. CBT might be helpful also. If you have an iPhone>> http://bit.ly/1CBImY2
