Each one different: Can't predict but there are things you can do to get ready. Ask for exercises you can do to strengthen the muscles that work the knee. Eat a healthy diet with lots of different fresh vegetables, cut way back on processed starchy foods; these measures cut inflammation in the body. After surgery, work hard with the physiotherapists to get that knee moving. Good luck!
