Dose based on labs: Hi. The correct dose of levothyroxine for you is determined by your thyroid labs (TSH and free T4) after you've been on that dose for at least 5-6 weeks (unless you have the much rarer pituitary cause of hypothyroidism; then TSH is no help). So we don't know if that dose is correct or not without more information. I suspect your weight loss and breathing problems are unrelated to thyroid. See doc.
