More questions?: How long have you been eating this many calories daily? What foods are you actually eating? Are you exercising at all? Are you getting enough sleep? Are you eating all of your calories in one meal or are you spreading them out throughout the day? Losing weight is not as easy as just cutting calories.

It depends: upon many other factors as well, such as height and physical activity. If you're truly measuring your calories accurately, and are increasing your physical activity, and your thyroid level is normal, and you have no other medical problems, and you are above 5 feet in height, then you should begin to slowly lose weight. Remember you have to burn off 3500 calories to lose a pound. good luck.
