I have a very strong psychological desire to be substantially overweight, and i've indulged this periodically, and then lost the weight, despite the immense satisfaction it gave me, only to want to do it again. i'm not sure how best to manage this?

See professional: Your problem is more complex than can be treated on the web. Fighting the desire to be overweight suggests deep problems that can best be treated by a psychologist or medical social; worker. Since you can control your appetite to either gain or,lose, weight, determine your ideal weight and strive to maintain that, while enjoying healthy foods eaten at regular mealtimes 3-4 x daily. Good luck!
