Congratulations: Congratulations on attempting to lose weight! the problem with diets is that they are sometimes unsustainable. If you are eating 1300 calories per day and are not hungry this is a sign that you were maybe overeating before. The best solution is to make long term lifestyle changes. Losing a pound a day may be too much, a more realistic goal is 2-4 lbs per week.

Ok: Usually initial weight loss is water weight loss. Later on its caloric weight loss. So you are on right track. Just be patient and exercise also. The trick is not losing weight. The tough part is not gaining it all back. That is why the stress is placed on not to deprive yourself and go slow.
