Go to ER OR A DOCTOR: if you have acute diverticulitis you need a proper treatment pending the stages of your infection that will be be assessed by physical examination and CT scan if mild you stay on light diet and take oral antibiotic if moderate or severe you need IV antibiotic and IV fluid and you might have to stay fasting to prevent complicated diverticulitis that could mean surgery.so go and see a doctor please
