Scoliosis: Please get yourself seen by a physician and get the xray done. Xray will accurately determine the degree of scoliosis, called Cobb's angle. Idiopathic scoliosis rarely is a contraindication for sports participation unless the angle of curvature is severe. If you have pain or any other problem then please let your physician know.

Trainer: Work with a trainer to first strengthen your core (midline) with use of squats, gradually increasing weights used, not too fast, and with roman chair, without weights at first then add flat weights increasing gradually. Do core strengthening for about a month before trying extremity work. Work with an experienced trainer. Wear a weight belt at all times. Always have a spotter.
