Headache/nose bleed: Hello, The answer to your question is yes but probably unlikely. Both of these symptoms could come from your pituitary tumor if the tumor undergoes aggressive growth. The tumor rests just behind your sphenoid sinus. I'm also assuming the tumor was not surgically removed at this point. See your ENT doctor who can perform an endoscopic exam and identify the reason for the nosebleed.

Maybe; see doctor: A very serious potential complication of a large pituitary tumor is pituitary apoplexy. It can happen when the tumor is shrinking, i.e. on cabergoline. The blood supply to the tumor gets cut off and it self destructs; this can require emergency surgery. Sx are usually a bad headache and neurologic symptoms (eg visual defects). Nose bleed is not usually a sx. Suggest see your doc or ER.
