Anxiety can cause almost anything but that combo would be unusually. Your body is talking to you. Listen and take good notes. Share with your team. You all should be able to figure out what is going on. There are a whole bunch of disks. Which was protruding? Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar or what????

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

A full physical examination by your regular primary care doctor would help. Your anxieties could be addressed by cognitive behavioural therapy and/ or biofeedback treatment. You might be able to sort this out via a virtual consult on the paid portion of our site (www.connect@healthtap.com)
