A member asked:

I have a pituitary prolactinoma and i have been having throbbing head aches on the top left side of my head. it hurts so bad. could it be the tumor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends on size: Tumors inside the head/brain can cause headaches but only when they are larger than one cm. Most prolactinomas are smaller than that. You should ask your endocinologist or neurologist to help you to find the cause. It could easily be migraine headaches especially if the headache only affects one half of your head.
