Phone Apps?: I have a great app on my phone that is called MyPlate. I used it for about 1.5 months when dropping some personal weight (20lbs). I did the Medifast diet with my wife for support and it was helpful to accurately track what I was consuming. 3500cals consumed = 1 lb. Know your daily expenditure of cals and try to stay at it. It is arduous to count cals, but it truly is the easiest most accurate way
