Yes, but...: ...feeling tense on a new job is 1 thing; elevated BP is another. If you're not exaggerating. Is your BP normal away from work & high at work? How high is "elevated"? Is all this precisely timed with starting this job & with your being at work or elsewhere? If your BP is up all the time, it may not be just stress. Your doctor can help you accurately track your BP and rule out organic causes.
