I am leaving south africa for my new job in edinburgh in a week. my chest is sore but i presume its got to do with anxiety, stress or a mixture of both. i am reaching out due to the covid situation. i dont have my other symptoms except the above.

COVID concerns: COVID 19 Sx's may include fever, cough, feeling tired, shortness of breath, muscle aches, headache, sore throat, chills, chest pain, nasal congestion, loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Chest tightness can occur due to anxiety. However, there isn't a way to guarantee that is the cause.

Chest wall : The chest wall may be one source of your chest pain. The muscles and tendons may become strained. Apply local heat and use Motrin for the pain. If there is any respiratory difficulty, please schedule a pre trip physical examination. Upon arrival, screening will be performed at the airport. Drink fluids, rest and monitor your temperature. Watch for signs of worsening pain, distress or fever.
