A member asked:

Dg dysautonomia/hypermobility/mcad... respir. pb, gasp for air 1-2/day;when laying, alar nostril/throat numb, fatigue arms/finger pain chiari/als/eds?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

What type disorder: Having a symptom of numbness or burning means ALS is probably not the diagnosis. I would have expected painless weakness and weight loss for that condition. Are the respiratory problems improved now? Any clue about the excessive thirst? Or heat intolerance? Those sometimes occur with dysautonomia, or especially conditions that affect salt regulation.
