EV D68: This virus is causing severe respiratory symptoms and likely is worse if there is underlying asthma. I know some states have more disease. Prevention is the best treatment. Although children are getting sick I have not heard of deaths. Even children who do not have asthma still may become ill. See the CDC site for updates.
