Have you been tested: The severity of your asthma will determine your treatment. Most times, severe asthma is treated with both a controller inhaler and rescue inhaler. It is very, very important to stick to your controller regimen and never leave home without your rescue inhaler. If you know what triggers your attacks (allergy, etc) try to minimize your exposure. Good luck.
