A member asked:

My parents got the vaccine two weeks ago, and i'm only 28. however, i do have daily asthma symptoms (never life threatening attacks) and moderate sleep apnea. if i got the virus at a large indoor gathering in march, how sick do you think i'd get?

Need more info: You can’t have persistent infection since March. You can’t catch coronavirus from someone who received the vaccine. If you catch “natural” infection symptoms can range from no symptoms at all (asymptomatic) to severe, life threatening. With underlying asthma you MAY be a candidate for a monoclonal antibody, the sooner the better. Contact an Infectious Diseases doctor to discuss
