Take the Losartan: It sounds like you need to take the Losartan. It is a good drug to start with for high blood pressure. At that dose and at your age, it is highly unlikely that your blood pressure will go too low. I would recommend rechecking your blood pressure with your doctor about 6 weeks after starting the Losartan and call if symptoms of lightheadedness occur. You should be fine.
