I have a pulmonary nodule that was 5 mm in 07/2013. as of 09/2014 it is 6 mm. would you recommend a follow up next year? i haven't smoked in 30 years

Work-up now: The nature of the nodule needs to be established now rather than waiting for a year. You may wish to discuss with your doctor other diagnostic modalities, e.g., Pet scan and consultation with a pulmonary specialist.
