Workup/mgt: Pulmonary nodules have a distinct appearance on CT scans. The pain suggests that the lining of the lung is involved or that there could be involvement of the nerves/muscles or rib cage. I would suggest that he be tested for TB and other fungal infections. Once a cause is established, immune workup as well. pulmd@aol.com to review more history/scans.
