Why: Why did you have a full body scan? If you have cancer, and they are looking for mets, review this with your md. Otherwise it is a lot of radiation for nothing. There are more false positive readings that cause extra procedures that drive the cost of reasonable healthcare up. Speak with the doctor that ordered all of this to begin with. If you have anxiety regarding your health you need help.

Nothing: Full body ct scanning as a screening test is not recommended for just these reasons. Three tiny nodules in the lungs were found and now there ensues a workup for them. Colonoscopy and endoscopy to look for a cause for the nodules? If so that is an over-reaction. Chances that the tiny nodules are cancer in a 25 year old nonsmoker are very low. At that size they can be observed with follow up scan.
