Sudden dizzy spells: Dizzy spells can be caused by many things. A brain tumor is very unlikely. If your neuro wants you to do an MRI as part of your assessment, ok. It is better to tell them what your problem is than to ask for certain tests, which may or may not help!

Vertigo is common: Mild dizziness occasionally is common and may be due to a variety of causes. Imaging is generally not needed for your primary care provider to make a diagnosis. A visit to primary care should provide reassurance. Thanks for trusting Health Tap!
