Can you tell me ptsd and it's relationship to paraphilias?

If the PTSD is: from recent events (was experience, auto accident, personal injury or trauma), there will not be as strong a correlation with attractions to specific objects/situations that are sexually tinged. These tend to evolve from longer-standing exposure that probably date from earlier in life (like family-of-origin). If you make this connection, see a psychologist for some history and diagnoses.

PTSD- paraphilia: There often isn't a relationship. I have evaluated some men whose paraphilic behaviors rapidly accelerated in the face of untreated combat ptsd.
