In fact what therapy does is enhance your internal The bottom line is PTSD is when external events exert more control over you and cause negative symptoms: flash backs, driven memories, anxiety, fear, a sense of incompetence. Yes PTSD can can "go away on it's own" sometimes in some people. Yes positive environment, supportive and improved relationships with parents, family and friends can improve symptoms. And in some cases almost make it null and void.
