A detailed CBC(complete blood count) is the first test to show the nature of the problem....so send us the results of your blood counts and we can address your question better. Low counts can be caused by many different diseases, cancer can be one cause for low production of blood cells, causing low counts.

I was sent to a hematologist due to mildly elevated WBC at 11. No symptoms and my WBC count has been elevated at 11 for many years. Flow cytometry test came back negative but WBC was still elevated. Does that mean no blood cancer cells found?
