After bone marrow biopsy done to my 70 yr dad , hematologist gave him vitamin b6 for his moderate anemia. what s possible diagnosis. dr. say no cancer?

Sideroblastic?: Some of the sideroblastic anemias respond to generous doses of pyridoxine. I hope this works. This is a large and diverse family illnesses most bearing a mutation or two in the marrow. You may enjoy reading up on them. Best wishes.
