I've had on and off ulcers on my tongue the last year they always go after a week or so , was just wondering should i be worried about cancer .

No: These are almost certainly aphthae. I trust your overall health is good and you have nothing to suggest lupus, neutropenia, or Behcet's; if you have other symptoms / signs, mention this to your physician.
