See pediatrician: Viral vs. bacterial etiology. Higher the fever possibility of bacterial etiology greater. Should have her checked with testing by pediatrician particularly if starting school.

Do it today: If your daughter has strep the test will be positive today and if you start treatment today she won't be contagious in 2 days and will probably feel much better by then too! If she needs antibiotics take probioitics too. if it is not strep it is viral and I would advise herbs like Spilanthes, Propolis and Pellargonium sidoides (sold as Umcka).

Test today: As a mom, I would recommend testing today so if she has strep it can be treated and better by the start of kindergarten.
