How?: Treatment of hypertrophic scars and keloids includes occlusive dressings, compression therapy, steroid injections, cryosurgery, excision, radiation therapy, laser therapy, retinoic acid, imiquimod 5% cream, tamoxifen, tacrolimus, botulinum toxin, and over-the-counter treatments. In other words, many treatments are out there, consult with a dermatologist for what is best for your situation.
