Absolutely!: Deciding to become a vegetarian can be one of the healthiest decisions you make. You may wish to adopt it gradually first excluding meat, fish, poultry & eggs but retaining dairy products (milk, cheese, yogurt): lacto-vegetarian. Or retain eggs and be a lacto-ovo vegetarian. A vegan also excludes dairy. Be sure to get enough B12, calcium, vitamin D, protein, iron, iodine, possibly in supplement.
