Depression and anxiety are very serious conditions. Medication is just one treatment option. Talk therapy with a trained therapist may be prescribed. Exercise, diet, and meditation are also helpful. Avoiding use of alcohol, caffeine and other substances harmful to the brain is also important. Best wishes!
