Very helpful: Mbsr and meditation provide opportunity for us to be aware of inner experience, on purpose, and non-judgmentally. Being disconnected from ourselves can lead to stress, depression, and anxiety. A seminal book on this topic is "full catastrophe living" by jon kabat-zinn phd, who founded mbsr in the us over 30 years ago. Updated 2013 version describes the program ; contains new research!
