Trigger finger: If it gets "stuck" sometimes and you have to "unstick" it with your other hand, wonder about trigger finger. If pain but no sticking of the finger, wonder about arthritis in the joint. Tendonitis is also on the list, but without proper examination, hard to tell. Hope this at least gives you some idea.
