Muscle pain: You may have a tendon or muscle inflammation called tenosynovitis. I recommend treating the inflammation with RICE: rest, ice, compression, elevation. Apply ice over a towel or cloth, at 15 minute intervals. Try to elevate your hand, apply an Ace bandage for compression - remove at bedtime. Avoid strenuous movements of the hands like gripping handlebars or playing the piano for a week.
