Yes : A rapid flu test is very sensitive to pick up both influenza A and B. If u have had symptoms for 14 weeks it's unlikely to be the flu. Flu symptoms like fever and body aches should last 7-10 days tops. 14 weeks is a long time and u should see a doctor for evaluation of these symptoms. Good luck!

Yes: Yes the Alere Rapid test is accurate; however it is established that seroconversion to HIV may not occur for up to six months after infection. Helath care workers after exposure are tests at day 0, 30 days and 6 months to exclude transmission. The sensitivity and specificity for HIV tests such as Alere are in the upper 90's.
