Covid-19 infection is a multi-system disease so you feel better overall but your pulmonary symptoms persist because you may have post inflammatory pulmonary disease versus superinfection. You need to have a blood test and CXR done to rule out bacterial pneumonia because of weakness, fever and worse coughing +/- pleuritic chest pain. Antibiotic therapy is indicated if leukocytosis is present.

The tests are accurate, and repeat tests were negative. A secondary infection may be the cause of your symptoms, or another illness has occurred. Repeat tests and discuss antibiotic use with urgent care or with your physician. Rest, drink fluids and monitor temperature. Watch for shortness of breath, fever and please follow up.
