Abdominal bump: Your correct. This bump is in all likelihood the TERMINAL end of the sternum or chest bone called the xiphoid process. You should have it examined to be sure.

Not to Worry: Its the bottom of your sternum ("Breast plate") called the "Xyphoid Process" a piece of cartilage , thats all, perfectly benign. NOT to worry and don't poke at it..I know you are! It will just make it sore!
