Various: Such fluttering feelings in the left upper abdomen or lower chest area could be due to irritable muscles or superficial nerves. Gas pains could be fleeting but are usually sharp. In the absence of any other symptoms like pain, tenderness, nausea, etc, i doubt any serious problem is present. See your physician if symptoms worsen.
