Get it checked: A heart rate that feels irregular could be a number of things from benign variations in heart rate with breathing inspiration versus expiration, to abnormal irregular rhythms such as atrial fibrillation. You should see your doctor to have it checked and have an EKG done to determine the specific rhythm it is to make sure it is not an abnormal one that would need further attention.

Probably not: If dizziness or near passing out sensations, then more concerning. Drink lots of liquids to stay hydrated, avoid caffeine or energy drink products, and if palpitations or irregular heart beats continue consider visit to doctor to obtain a 24 hr Holter monitor and a TSH (blood test looking at thyroid function)
